Xiaomi 11T Pro Review
Mi 10T Pro from Xiaomi Mi 10T Pro was notified in India in Sept of 2020. It was a reliable high-end smartphone that was packed with features and amazing hardware. After a long time, Xiaomi has finally come with an update. As with the majority of Xiaomi’s flagship and mid-range phones the new model isn’t carrying its “Mi” brand and is just called”the Xiaomi 11T Pro.
Price
The Xiaomi 11T Pro is available in three versions and three different finishes. There’s a base model with 8GB of RAM as well as 128GB of storage. Prices start at Rs. 39,999 in India. It is then followed by the variant that has 8GB RAM as well as 256GB internal storage, which costs Rs. 41,999. Lastly, the most expensive model comes with 12GB of RAM, and an internal storage capacity of 256GB and costs just Rs. 43,999. These three colors are Moonlight White, Meteorite Black as well as Celestial Blue. The 12GB version is only available in blue and black colors. I got the highest-end version that comes with 12GB RAM Celestial Blue.
Design
In addition to the stunning, multi-color rear panel you can get with this design The Xiaomi 11T Pro’s design doesn’t truly stand out. It’s not as light and slim as that of the Vivo V23 Pro, and it comes with a flat display. The frame of the 11T Pro doesn’t appear as attractive as the frame made of metal on the IQoo 7 Legend. It’s also bulky at 200g and doesn’t have the authentic IP rating, which is different from its close cousin is Mi 11X Pro. Mi 11X Pro.
The thing I like about the phone’s design was it’s a comfortable device to handle and easy to hold because of the glossy finish on the glass back and polycarbonate middle-frame. Its Corning Gorilla Gorilla Victus scratch-resistant glass on the rear and front did not catch fingerprints with ease during the review period as well. Its 6.67-inch AMOLED panel comes with holes punched to allow selfie cameras and features a thin bezel all around.
Specification
The Xiaomi 11T Pro features the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 SoC that is utilized by several phones at the same price at this point. This 11T Pro has LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.1 storage, however, there is no expansion slot. The phone is compatible with multiple 5G bands and dual 5G standby. It also is compatible with Wi-Fi 6 Bluetooth 5.2, NFC as well as the standard GPS satellite systems. It also has an infrared emitter that can be used to control appliances. The phone runs on a 5,000mAh battery that is charged quickly by using the 120W charger that comes with it.
The phone runs the Xiaomi MIUI 12 software which is built upon Android 11. The user interface is the kind you’d expect from a Xiaomi phone. Additionally, there are numerous pre-installed apps from third parties, although they can be removed if required. There are also a lot of apps that are Mi-branded – most of which aren’t removed, however, some, like the Mi Credit app, maybe. Thankfully I didn’t find ads in the interface.
Performance
The Xiaomi 11T Pro has a Super AMOLED display that is Full HD+ with a 120Hz maximum refresh rate as well as the rate of touch sampling at 480Hz, which is slightly more than the one you’ll get with Mi 11X Pro. Mi 11X Pro (360Hz). The monitor is set with the “Vivid Colour profile, which produces somewhat oversaturated colors. Switching to the Display P3 profile led to more natural-looking and accurate hues on the display. The screen has been Dolby Vision certified and the content that is supported on Netflix is impressed with its rich blacks and high contrast. This, together with Stereo speakers as well as Dolby Atmos support, makes for a truly immersive video watching experience.
Like many phones at this price, the performance wasn’t a concern. It’s Xiaomi 11T Pro scored 811 and 3,391 in Geekbench’s tests for single-core and multi-core as well. It also scored the highest score in 3DMark’s 3DMark Sling Shot Extreme GPU test.
Cameras
Xiaomi 11T Pro Xiaomi 11T Pro has three rear-facing cameras. They include a 108MP rear camera which can capture 12-megapixel images as standard and an ultra-wide-angle 8-megapixel camera and a 5 MP macro camera. Selfies are taken care of by a front camera of 16 megapixels. Camera apps are similar to that we’ve seen on different Xiaomi phones and have an easy-to-use interface and simple access to the most important settings and modes. The phone supports video recording in 8K recording and even records in HDR up to 4K. If this is enabled frame rate is set to 30 frames per second for all resolutions.
Conclusion
The Xiaomi 11T Pro is a top-quality smartphone that is a great choice for anyone who wants to improve their camera as well as the quality of display battery life, raw power for less than the price of Rs. 40,000.
After having this Xiaomi 11T Pro for more than an entire week, it’s obvious that this phone has the potential to be an outstanding all-rounder. Except for its poor selfie camera that isn’t as bright and the plethora of pre-installed apps, the rest of the features work perfectly. 120W charging is the most efficient we’ve seen on a smartphone while the AMOLED screen is the best in terms of performance. Dolby Vision’s capabilities are the icing to the top.
