Quick Review Of The IQOO Z6 Lite – Excellent Gaming Smartphone Under 15k

iQOO has been doing very well in the low-cost Indian market, and its newest product continues that trend. The brand-new Z6 Lite 5G just came out in India, so that’s what we’re going to talk about today. The phone has the very first Qualcomm Snapdragon 4 Gen 1 chipset, which is brand new. Besides this, it has a 120Hz screen and a large 5000mAh battery. The phone is for people who want a lot of power and like to play games.

iQOO Z6 Lite Price

In India, there are two different kinds of the iQOO Z6 Lite 5G. The base model, with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage, costs Rs. 13,499. The other model, with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage, costs Rs. 14,999. The phone has two color options: Steller Green and Mystic Black. The phone can be bought directly from iQOO’s website or Amazon.

  • Storage: 64GB storage and 128GB storage

  • Selfie camera: 8MP
  • Battery: 5000mAh
  • Weight: 194 grams

iQOO Z6 Lite Design and Development

At first glance, the iQOO Z6 Lite 5G looks great. My Steller Green review unit has a shimmering matte-finished back panel that shines when light hits it. Even though it’s made of plastic, it feels really good and is not cheap.

The positive thing is fingerprints don’t stick to the back, so they always look clean. Like the back, the frame is made of plastic, and the corners are rounded. It’s easy to hold the phone for a long time without getting tired.

With a thickness of about 8.25 mm and a weight of 194 grams, it feels neither heavy nor light in your hands. You can see the power button and volume rockers on the good side. The left side is clean. The SIM card slot is on the top, and the Type-C port, 3.5mm audio jack, and speaker are on the bottom.

iQOO Z6 Lite Display

The iQOO Z6 Lite 5G has a 6.58-inch Full HD+ IPS LCD screen. I would have liked it if iQOO had used an AMOLED screen since many phones in this price range have AMOLED screens.

But iQOO makes up for it by having a 120Hz refresh rate and a 240Hz sampling rate for touch. This phone’s navigation is great, whether exploring the user interface or scrolling through your Instagram feed.

The quality of the picture on the screen is also good. The colors were bright and bold, but not as much as on an AMOLED screen. The writing on the screen was sharp and easy to read. I liked watching things on the iQOO Z6 Lite as a whole.

iQOO Z6 Lite Camera

On the back of the iQOO Z6 Lite, there are two cameras. It has a main camera with 50MP and a macro lens with 2MP. You can take selfies with the 8MP camera on the front. There are no super-wide lenses here. The main camera does a good job of taking pictures during the day. The pictures had a good amount of detail and were true to color.

The pictures in low light were just okay, with grains and few details. When it comes to the macro lens, we should say less. It doesn’t take a great shot to make people talk. But if your hands are steady, you might be able to get some shots that are good enough.

On the other hand, selfies taken during the day were clear and had lots of details. The skin tones were pretty close to how they look in real life, and the dynamic range was also good. The portrait images featured an excellent blur effect, and the phone did an excellent job of isolating the subject from the backdrop.

You get common camera options including 50MP, Pro mode, Slo-mo, Time-lapse, and more. One thing to remember is that only the 6GB version has a night mode. The main camera on the mobile can record 1080p videos at 60fps, and the selfie camera can record 1080p videos at 20fps.

iQOO Z6 Lite’s Performance and UI

The phone shines when it comes to how well it works. The iQOO Z6 Lite 5G has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 4 Gen 1 chipset and up to 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. The phone worked well and helped me do normal things without any problems.

It was easy to switch between apps and open them quickly. You can also use the built-in storage to add another 2GB of virtual RAM. When I used the phone, it didn’t lag or shut down.

It was now time to move the phone forward. I played games like Call of Duty Mobile and Asphalt 9, which had a lot of graphics. The outcome was just amazing and totally out of the blue. With Very Powerful graphics settings and Very High frame rates, COD Mobile ran very smoothly. In the same way, Asphalt 9 ran perfectly on High settings.

The phone has a 4-part cooling system that helps it stay cool even when you play games for a long time. FuntouchOS 12, which is based on Android 12, is what the phone uses. The user interface (UI) comes with a lot of pre-installed bloatware and a lot of ways to customize it. You can, thankfully, get rid of them.

iQOO Z6 Lite’s Battery and Charging

The iQOO Z6 Lite has a big 5000mAh battery and 18W fast charging, but there is one problem. Why iQOO chose this method is both surprising and hard to understand. Still, the phone has a good battery life and can be used normally for a whole day without any problems. I had about six to seven hours of screen time, which is pretty good. Now that it was time to check the charging speed, I used my 18W charger, which took over 1.5 hours to charge the phone fully.

Conclusion

Most things about the iQOO Z6 Lite 5G are good, and it’s the best phone in this price range. iQOO has done an outstanding job and set a new standard for the rest of the market. The phone is a powerhouse that can easily run heavy apps and games with many graphics. The main camera takes good pictures during the day, and the battery life is also good. But the biggest problem is that iQOO decided not to include a charger for some reason.
