Samsung Galaxy F13 Structure and Design
As for how it looks, the Samsung Galaxy F13 has a nice design that stands out from a distance. It has a plastic body that feels strong when you hold it. The edges and corners of the phone are rounded, making it easy to hold.
The back has a finish that looks like fingerprints, which I’ve never seen before. This means there are no fingerprints or smudges on the phone. But the phone is a little bit thicker and weighs about 207 grams. The main reason for this is that the phone has a bigger battery.
On the back, you will also see a vertical, rectangular camera unit with the Samsung logo at the bottom. This is where the three cameras are. Regarding ports and buttons on the phone, the right side has the volume buttons and the power button, which is also a fingerprint scanner. The Type-C port, 3.5mm audio jack, and speaker grill are all on the bottom, while the top is clean.
Samsung Galaxy F13 Display
The Samsung Galaxy F13 has a big FHD+ IPS LCD screen that is 6.6 inches and has a 1080 x 2408 pixels resolution. The display has a refresh rate: 60Hz and a maximum brightness of 480 nits. The Galaxy F13 has this standard set of specs for its screen. It does a decent job.
The colors and clarity of the screen are both pretty good. Even though it’s not as bright and clear as an AMOLED screen, I could easily read texts and see icons even when it was cloudy. But things get a bit harder when it’s sunny outside.
I would have liked this phone to have an AMOLED screen like Samsung’s other phones in this price range. It has a v-shaped notch that looks a little old, and the bezels around the screen are thin except for the one at the bottom, which is a little thicker.
Samsung Galaxy F13 Camera
Samsung Galaxy F13, there are three cameras. This has the main camera with 50MP, a wide-angle lens with 5MP, and a depth lens with 2MP. You can take selfies with the 8MP camera on the front. Lighting out, the 50 MP main camera takes some good pictures.
They were clear and had a good amount of details. The pictures were bright, and the colors were close to how they looked in real life. Even the pictures taken inside were pretty good. Even the shots of people were good. The blur effect was done well, and the topic was well disengaged from the background.
Since there is no nite mode, the phone has difficulty taking good pictures when there isn’t much light. When it came to the wide-angle shots, they didn’t have a lot of details, and the colors were a bit dull. The shots covered a bigger area, but the dynamic range wasn’t as good as with the main lens.
When it was light outside, the 8MP lens took pretty good selfies. The pictures were clear and full of detail. The skin tones were also pretty close to the real thing. But things don’t look so good when there isn’t much light. The main and front-facing cameras on the Samsung Galaxy F13 can document 1080p videos at 30 frames per second.
Samsung Galaxy F13’s performance and user interface
The Exynos 850 chipset, 4GB of RAM, and up to 128GB of internal storage power the Samsung Galaxy F13. The phone works well for a daily driver and does a good job for the price. Using the RAM expansion feature, you can add another 4GB of RAM.
This isn’t very useful in everyday life, but it comes in handy when doing more than one thing at once. When we talk about multitasking, the phone can easily handle a few apps, and I can switch between them without any trouble. The Galaxy F13 is not a phone for playing games, but I tried a few, and they were not as good as I had hoped.
Mobile and Asphalt 9 might run on medium settings, but the games were slow and jerky. I had to turn down the settings so I could play better. It will be good enough for casual users but won’t be the best choice for serious gamers.
Battery and Charging for Samsung Galaxy F13
The phone’s best feature is its huge 6000mAh battery, which comes with the Samsung Galaxy F13. Even with light use, the phone should last at least two days. Even light users can get enough juice to last until the third day.
I got between 7 and 8 hours of screen time, which is great. I used it to watch Netflix series all at once, scroll through my Instagram feed, and play games. You don’t have to worry about charging this phone daily if you want to play games for a long time.
But when you need to charge it, it takes a long time. The Galaxy F13 can only fast charge at 15W, which isn’t very fast, given how big the battery is. From 0% to 100%, it takes about two hours to charge the phone fully.
Conclusion
Samsung had also put a lot into this great device to make it a good all-arounder. It has a nice screen, a good main camera, one of the best user interfaces, and a huge 6000mAh battery, among other things. The big battery is, of course, the best thing about this phone. But Samsung has taken some shortcuts as well.
The phone can only charge quickly at 15W, which is not enough. The F13’s performance isn’t anything special, and you may be able to find something better that fits your needs. Overall, it’s a good choice for people who want a good-looking phone that won’t break the bank and can go for two days without being charged.
